Screenwriter and Graphic Novelist (Writer/Illustrator)
Born in Washington, D.C.
Has studied Japanese language, literature, and culture for over 10 years.
During high school, wrote, illustrated, and self-published first graphic novel.
2009-2010: Spent year abroad in Tokyo, Japan at Sophia University.
May 2011: Graduated from New York University, Gallatin School of Individualized Study. Concentration entitled, “Exploring and Examining Otherness: Japan as well as The Globe.” Colloquium/Rationale entitled, “The Hero as Other.”
June 2011 – January 2012: Researched, wrote, and completed first two full-length screenplays, Who is Laurence Harvey? and The Golden Curator.
November 28th, 2012: Began publishing graphic novel The Poet and the Flea about the poet-painter William Blake online at thepoetandtheflea.wordpress.com.
January 17th, 2013: The Poet and the Flea reviewed by Sarah Goode, University College Oxford, British Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies.
January – April, 2013: Interned at Zest Books, a young adult non-fiction publishing company in San Francisco, California.
March 3rd, 2013: Interviewed by Hannah Meiklejohn for Lemonade: Freshly Squeezed Art & Culture Magazine.
May 15th – 26th, 2013: Attended the Cannes International Film Festival.
May 28th, 2013: Spoke upon invitation to The Blake Society, London.
August 31st – September 1st, 2013: Exhibited at the San Francisco Zine Festin San Francisco.
September 14th – 15th, 2013: Exhibited at SPX (Small Press Expo) in Bethesda, Maryland.
October 12th – 13th, 2013: Exhibited at APE (Alternative Press Expo) in San Francisco.
October 31st, 2013: The Poet and the Flea featured by Melissa D. Johnston for Creative Thresholds.
